Don grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, one of eight children raised without privilege. The sacrifices his parents made instilled in him a work ethic he carries into every case. He has overcome many personal and professional challenges throughout his life, and now devotes his career entirely to helping clients overcome their financial ones.

Don founded The Law Office of Donald E. Hood, PLLC in 2004 after spending twenty years at Southwest Airlines Co., where he served as an attorney from 1992 to 2004. Today, he focuses exclusively on consumer and business bankruptcy law under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. He is passionate about his work — which makes him relentless about your results.
